Odd Shoe Day

Werrington Lake
October 12, 2016

To raise awareness for Mental Health Month and to stomp out stigma, Aftercare invites you to put your odd shoes on.

Mental health is so prevalent in Australia that statistics indicate around one in two of us will experience a mental illness in our lifetime, and one in five of us will experience a mental illness in any year.
– ABS National Survey of Mental Health & Wellness 2007

Due to stigma, people may live less satisfying and contributing lives than they would like, and are able to make.
– A Life Without Stigma – A SANE Report

Help Aftercare stomp out the Stigma!

This event will take place at the BBQ area in Werrington Lake.
